Three years ago on December 11, 2017 I decided to start a writing stream.
And what a wild ride it was been since then!
To celebrate three years of craziness, we had a stream-iversary party where I saw how well I could guess viewers’ stories, we voted on our favorite stories from the past year, and then I quizzed chat on how well they knew me!
If chat got more points guessing me correctly than I got guessing them correctly, then I would have to eat a gross Japanese candy: boiled tuna. Yum.
#1. I Guess Who Wrote What
First we played a game where everyone wrote a 100-word story that started with: “It’s been a long three years.”
I stayed blind to what everyone wrote, then I tried to guess who wrote each one. I was very confident in my guesses, but in the end…
…out of 10 stories, I only got 3 right.
Well, it wasn’t the absolute worst, but things weren’t looking good for me avoiding the tuna candy.

After that I had chat vote from the top 10 stories I chose that we wrote over the last year, to pick one that we’d read again. Here’s the order they came in:

We read the #1 story and cringed in terror, remembering the good/scary times that went into originally writing it. Be sure to check out any of the above stories that you missed!
#3. How Well Do YOU Know ME
Finally, it was time to turn the tables: I came up with some questions about myself and chat had to vote on what they thought the correct answer was. If they got more than three points, then I would have to eat the tuna candy.
…they got 3.5 points.
The tuna candy tasted like gritty fish that had been buried under the dirt.
All in all it was an absolute blast, the perfect way to celebrate the past year! Here’s to hoping that 2021 is another year of learning, ranting, trolling, and of course, some amount of writing too.
