Magic is a fickle thing. All it takes it one small mispronunciation of an ancient incantation and suddenly you can end up summoning an “elf” instead of a “shelf” and now you have an unappreciative, pointy-eared roommate.
And that’s basically what happened to the poor wizard named Linus.
